Resources for Educators and Students

College and Up

Playing on Air is honored to help college and graduate school educators across the country share the power of great theater! We are proud to freely share short, engaging plays, made by America’s best theater artists, with scholars across the country.

We hope that theater students and professors can utilize our free library of 100+ works, especially as the Covid-19 crisis has closed traditional stages. Below are some of our recommended episodes for college classrooms, chosen for educators, by educators!

If you’re a professor interested in additional resources, including basic worksheets and episode transcripts (available for select episodes), please reach out: Information for Educators.

If you have any questions, please let us know at: education@playingonair.org.

(PLEASE NOTE: Before using any of our works in a classroom setting, we strongly recommend listening to the full episode to determine its appropriateness for your students. For more information on each piece— including synopsis, artist bios, and any notes about mature content— please visit each episodes’s individual page.)
