Jay O. Sanders returned to live theater in September 2021 in Richard Nelson’s What Happened?: The Michaels Abroad, followed by Conor McPherson’s Girl From The North Country with Bob Dylan’s music on Broadway. Recent films include the French political thriller Songs of Revenge, When You Finish Saving the World (written and directed by Jesse Eisenberg), The Road To Galena, and a new film by Alejandro Iñárritu. Other films include: The Day After Tomorrow, JFK, Tumbleweeds, and Revolutionary Road. Recent television credits: Manhunt: Deadly Games, Sneaky Pete, and The Sinner (Season 2). Sanders won the Drama Desk Award for his performance in Hunter Theater Project’s Uncle Vanya, and is a regular narrator of PBS documentaries, including Nova and Secrets of the Dead.
