Kate Robin is an award-winning playwright, whose plays include Anon. (Atlantic Theater Company), Intrigue With Faye (MCC; New York Stage & Film), What They Have (South Coast Rep.), I See You and The Light Outside (The Flea), Swimming In March (The Market Theater, winner Independent New England Reviewers’ Award, Best Play of 2001), Bride Stripped Bare (ThreadWaxing Space), Given Away (Playwright’s Collective), Mr. Bigger’s Baby (an SCR commission, later developed by TACT and the Atlantic Theater).

Kate’s plays have been commissioned and developed at South Coast Rep, Manhattan Theatre Club, Playwrights Horizons, New York Theater Workshop, The Atlantic Theater Co., The Vineyard Theater, The Eugene O’Neill National Playwrights’ Conference, JAW/West at Portland Stage, and Ensemble Studio Theatre.

TV and Film include: Executive Producer/Showrunner for the Amazon Series “One Mississippi” starring Tig Notaro, Co-Executive Producer on the Showtime series “The Affair," Supervising Producer of HBO’s “Six Feet Under”, and Coming Soon, a feature film (Bandeira/20th Century Fox).

Kate was the recipient of the Princess Grace Award for Playwriting in 1995 and the Princess Grace Statuette for career Excellence in 2003. She is an alumna of New Dramatists.
